本作再次使用了PSP版《伊苏7》中的队伍战斗模式。画面上可以看到3人，玩家只需要用一个键就可以切换所操纵的人物。操作的基本部分与伊苏7相似，玩过前作的人会很快上手。新动作之一是“FLASH防御”。在即将受到攻击的一瞬间按下R+L键，就可以使用强力的反击技能。
