玩家将扮演主角这个现代人穿越到了古代的地下城中，遭遇各种诡异还被鬼魂上身，不过上身的鬼魂却被宅男的猥琐霸气所震慑而无法对其进行控制而且被封印到了主角的身体之内，玩家要做的便是控制主角通过重重机关逃离地下城，游戏虽然没有浩大的场面与出色的剧情但其解谜思路与道具系统却设计得相当一流，游戏中玩家经常会得到一些提示，可不要忽视它们许多时候将成为过关的关键，另外由于主角天性开朗猥琐所以内心对白会相当有趣。

本作中，玩家操纵的主角将探索超过两百个不同场景，闪躲、跳跃、挥砍、解谜。使用不同武器、更换不同装备时，人物外型也会有所不同。
